Finance
The mission of the Finance Committee is to prepare an annual ministry budget for the Congregational Council and Congregation approval, and to track the actual spending during the year and give feedback to the Council regarding deviation(s) from the budget. They are involved with all financial matters of the church. They advise the Congregational Council, the congregation and the Treasurer on financial matters.
The committee also makes recommendations for distributions from the C Haid Outreach Fund and the Concordia Scholarship Fund.
The number of committee members is not specified and varies over time. There are currently 8 committee members. You do not need to have financial experience to belong to either the Finance or Legacy Committee. The main qualification is being able to afford the time to attend committee meetings and a willingness to participate at those meetings
