Property
The Property Committee seeks to maintain Concordia so that we can continue to worship in comfort for many years to come. We try to do as much as we can so we don’t have to hire outside contractors. There are five of us who do most of the work, but we’re always looking for others to help. If you can help, please call the church office.

Rebuilding God’s House
Concordia is used for many purposes. Children and youth race through our building seven days a week as we host the Concordia Nursery School, a program known area-wide for its high quality Christian education, the TOP program for children in need, two scout troops, a basketball team, a life skills program for disabled young adults, and our own Sunday School and youth programs. New Horizon Baptist Church worships and teaches in our building on Sunday afternoons, filling the church even after our worship and education programs have ended for the day.
Our building was state-of-the art in 1961. Now the building is looking tired and in need of new life. New ceiling, wall, and floor treatments are needed throughout the building. We will add two additional restrooms (one in the rear of the nave) and improve existing restroom facilities. Infrastructure improvements will also include upgraded heating, cooling, plumbing, and wiring systems. An elevator on the Garden side of the building and a reconfigured entrance on the Nursery side of the building will make it possible to welcome all our members and guests to worship and fellowship in every corner of the facility.
We dream of the day when even our oldest members, the foundation of our congregation, can join us for dinner and dancing in Kaiser Hall. We long for the day when Concordia is once again the place where the community gathers. We look forward to the time when our building reflects the bright hope, generous heart and welcoming spirit that we share. Through our building fund and rebuilding project we strive to keep pace with God’s vision for us.
And you can help.
