The Rev. JoAnn A. Post, Pastor
Pastor JoAnn Post was called to serve Concordia in August 2005. Since that time she and her family have made their home in Manchester, and have become vital and grateful members of the Concordia community.
Before serving Concordia, Pastor Post served parishes in Wisconsin, Georgia and Alaska. She currently serves as chair of the New England Synod Worship Committee. In addition to church-related activities, Pastor Post can be heard on the ham radio as KB1MPM.

Richard Hicks, Minister of Music
Richard Hicks is the minister of music and organist at Concordia Lutheran Church, having served in that capacity since 2006. He also works for Hamden Public Schools as the choral director at the high school where he also teaches music composition, piano lab, and music technology.
Richard's mother Elenor was raised as a Swedish Lutheran, and she married Kenneth, a Presbyterian minister. So, Richard grew up as a preacher's kid in Rochester and Syracuse, NY, having had a lifelong involvement with church music. Richard earned a bachelor's degree of music at Syracuse University in 1976 with a major in piano and a minor in organ. He earned a master's degree in music education at the Hartt School of Music in 1980. He has continued post graduate work at CCSU in education, music, and computer science. Richard is a member of the Hartford chapter of the American Guild of Organists, the American Association of Choral Directors, and the Connecticut Music Educators Association.
Richard performs as a jazz musician and as an accompanist for various other concerts and recitals. He also is webmaster for Lake View Estates Homeowners Association. His personal website is http://richardhicks.org.

Patricia Herdic, Nursery School Director
Joan Ross, Parish Secretary
Parish Secretary Joan Ross has served Concordia Lutheran Church since February 2007. Previously, she worked for Bank of America (Fleet) for 13 years and Emhart Corporation for 23 years. She has spent much of her work life in the secretarial and personnel field.
At home, Joan is mother to seven, grandmother to sixteen and great-grandmother to one. She is an active member of Our Lady of Peace in East Hartford, where she is stays busy working with various ministries and functions. In her spare time, she is an avid reader and formerly was an ace on the tennis court. Now, though, in her own words, “Alas, I could not keep a rally going if I tried!”
